JJICA has done extensive research and recognizes the vast opportunity that exists in the food trades. More specifically, we foresee an emerging demand in wine from Chinese consumers in which Canada is very well positioned to take advantage of. Our intention is to develop relationships with Chinese buyers, distributors and retailers and understand their specific needs.
As matter of fact, many food producers in Canada have difficulty establishing those relationships due to time, language, and cultural barriers. We believe we can leverage our understanding of both markets to better understand the market needs in China. From that, we will be able to liaise with Ontario wineries to fulfill those needs.
